Visstun^® Containers Pass Initial High Pressure Processing (HPP) Testing

Visstun^® announces their reusable plastic containers have passed initial rounds of High Pressure Processing (HPP) testing.

Visstun’s new product configuration of their custom plastic containers withstands the extremely high pressures (300-600 MPa/43,500-87,000psi) required for High Pressure Processing. Testing was conducted at 86,646 PSI with a dwell time of 180 seconds. Full test results can be viewed at Visstun HPP Test Results.

This new HPP capability coupled with Visstun’s innovative approach to cup & container manufacturing provides a Hi-Definition print. This enables customers to have a container that extends shelf life, improves food safety, and increases revenue with professional packaging that stands out on the shelf.
